Arduino.cc, 2024, docs.arduino.cc/tutorials/motor-shield-rev3/msr3-controlling-dcmotor/. Accessed 3 October, 2024.
Summary: This lets me know what materials are going to be needed for the robot. Such as the hardware and software that will be needed. While showing me how to program the Arduino board that controls our robot. It also shows me how to code our motors that will be helping our robot move.
Credibility: This source is credible as it was found on Arduino docs. Which is this main board that is being use for our line follower robot. So, it is teaching how to code our motor specifically for the mother board. How I used this source: I used this source to inform how to code our motors using an Arduino. It also shows me how to program the Arduino as well. This information is useful as it taught me how to code our motors and set up our Arduino board.
"Control a DC Motor with Arduino (Lesson #16)." Www.youtube.com, www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrJ_zLWFGFw. Accessed 3 October, 2024.
Summary: This video is teaching me how to control a DC motor with and Arduino. Specifically, being able to control it direction and the speed of the motor. It also shows me how to attach this motor to the circuit and how to connect external batteries.
Annotated bibliography Credibility: This video was made by Science Buddies, who have just over three hundred thousand followers. And our using their very own kits to help make this video. With that they also have over fifteen hundred other hands on projects and lesson plans that can helps students. How I used this source: I used this to code our motors when using an Arduino. It is showing me programs to use to test run our code as well. This information is useful as it taught me how to code our motors and programs that I can use to test our code for our Arduino in the future. Gomez, Connie. Mentor Interview. 6 October, 2024.
Summary: This was a mentor interview with Dr. Gomez. In this interview, Dr. Gomez, explained her journey of studying and becoming an engineer. Also telling us what steps she took to get her experience and prepare her for university..And after giving us what it was like getting to the beginning of her career, she explains what she would do differently. As well as giving us some insight on what a typical work day is for her.
Credibility: With the fact that Dr. Gomez has a PHD in mechanical engineering and has also mentored many students in software engineering, she is very experienced when it comes to these fields. As she has taught and completed the highest level of education. Which makes her one of my biggest sources for this mentorship. How I can use this source: Being able to go an ask her questions is one of the most important ways I am able to progress through this mentorship. As she is always able to provide insight in how to improve the robot or how efficiently something is working. She is also always able to help find other sources and other things that are able to teach me how to code and build this robot.
Annotated bibliography "How to Make a Simple Line Follower Robot Using Arduino." Www.youtube.com, www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyKAanh_f30. Accessed 24 September, 2024.
Summary: This video shows me how to create the line follower robot. It shows me where to attach our motors at. Where to place the Arduino board on the robot where we can connect everything. And it gives us all the materials that will be need to create this robot.
Credibility: This video was created by circuit Digest, where they have over one hundred thousand subscribers. They have created multiple Arduino based projects over these years that millions of people have been able to replicate. They also have many other tutorials for those projects that can teach people how to complete them on their own. How I use this source: I can use this source to show me an idea of how to set up my robot. Where I need to put my motors. Where I can put my Arduino board on the robot to be able to connect everything. It also shows me what materials I will need to make this robot as well. Rajesh. "Building an Easy Line Follower Robot Using Arduino Uno." Circuitdigest.com, 8 Sept. 2021, circuitdigest.com/microcontroller-projects/arduino-uno-line-follower-robot. Accessed 24 September,2024.
Summary: It discusses how the robot works as a whole. In terms of how it navigates the line. As well as how the sensors work, when moving forward, backwards, left and right. It also gives us a list of materials that will be needed for the robot. And why those materials are required for it to work.
Annotated bibliography Credibility: This project was found on Circuit Digest's website. They have created multiple Arduino based projects over these years that millions of people have been able to replicate. They also have many other tutorials for those projects that can teach people how to complete them on their own. They also have a YouTube channel with over one hundred thousand subscribers. How I use this source: I used this source to help find my line followers robot's base. Also, what programs I will be needing to help this robot work. And how the sensors that let the robot know where the line is at and how those sensors work. I will also be using it to teach me the coding for the sensors and the motors too.
